I am a bilingual journalist and author. My first middle grade novel, The Donut Rescue Team, was a third prize winner of 2003 Abrams’s Amplify Award.  Before writing for children, I worked as an international correspondent, covering parenting, education, and family life style from America for readers in Taiwan, where I'm originally from.
